Welcome to the PANDAS web site, Pandas Model Club was established in PONTEFRACT PARK over 40 years ago and is one of the largest clubs in the UK. Some years the membership has reached more than 200 members flying gliders, aeroplanes and helicopters. Our site is situated inside the race course at the bottom of the park with access to the flying site through the large gate on the main road.

CLUB EVENTS

During the year PANDAS hold quite a few events, we have fun days, scale competitions, helicopter fun days, BMFA competitions and much much more and all are welcome. Pilots must produce BMFA insurance at events before flying. Checkout our club events page for more details.

INTERESTED IN FLYING

If you are interested in model flying and would like to learn to fly or would like more information come on down to the park and say hello, we are a friendly bunch and will be happy to help you.
