Report on February club night

Shaun Garrity brought along a vast display of vintage kits, models & engines.
The kits included gliders, rubber powered, control line & early radio controlled models. Not only did he have the usual i/c engines, but a few samples of CO2 engines (which many members have never seen). Shauns informative talk spread across many aspects, including the different styles and quality of different manufacturers. Reports from members showed that the talk was well received and enjoyed by most. They all learned something of how modelling was in 'the old days'. The talk was followed by a chance to 'see what it was like' by having a go on a 'reed set' simulator, a prize being offered for the 'nearest to the spot' landing.
